Meadows

Entering the Park from Perry Common Road and strolling along the path a short distance you will see ahead of you the start of Perry Common Meadows. Yes, meadows in the City!  Take a first right turn and the sturdy metal bridge will safely allow you a first glimpse of the stream.

The stream winds its way the length of the meadows then continues further, winding its way through the greenery which can at times hide the flow.

Return to the path and you will find two shelters and a multi- purpose games enclosure. Continue along the path and take in the views of trees, bushes and wildlife whilst listening to the musical sound of birds and watching them as they go about their daily life.

There are benches along the way to rest a while and embrace the feeling of the country outdoors all around you.  You will then come to the Tiny Forest on the right; a small, dense, fast-growing woodland that will not only provide a haven for urban wildlife but also support education in enabling students to connect with nature.

The path then wanders round towards Witton Lodge Road, with the stream continuing under the roadway towards Kingstanding.
